The square lug lugs still provide consistent traction, but with increased height to ensure they dig even deeper into loose, unpredictable terrain. The increased circumferential spacing allows the tread to stay loose in tacky conditions while the sturdy outer knobs protect the sidewall as you send it down into the most massive rock gardens.
