With the use of hookless technology, the rim structure has been improved, resulting in greater strength and lighter weight. Aerodynamically, there is a more linear transition from tire to rim, thus reducing drag. The edgeless channel provides greater impact protection and reduces tube pinch flats, especially during gravel use. The 25mm internal width is optimized for the best compromise between aerodynamic drag and reduced rolling resistance with wider tires.
