The new Nago R4 PAS AGX is the semi-round, T-shaped saddle that completes Prologo's AGX saddle line. The gravel version of the iconic Nago R4.
AGX, acronym for Adventure - Gravel - Cyclocross, is the line of ergonomic saddles dedicated to the gravel and all-road world, designed to guarantee the right balance between performance and comfort on any type of terrain, even for long distances.
Compared to traditional models, AGX saddles feature a more flexible base made with new generation materials, and an extra 2mm of padding made of low-density foams.
These features ensure better absorption of shocks and vibrations, without however limiting or compromising power transfer even when pedaling on dirt roads.
Anatomical shape
The distinctive T-shape of this saddle offers greater freedom of movement and positioning, providing comfort and protection in high-friction areas. The set-back anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily vary position by using the entire length of the saddle.
The semi-round anatomical shape of the Nago R4 AGX provides good extra support to the lumbar region, helping to maintain a stable position even for those with reduced pelvic mobility.
Technologies
The Multi Sector System features different mapped and separate zones on the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and separate single-cell padding.
Prologo's 3D Slide Control technology improves grip and stability, helping the cyclist maintain the correct position on the saddle, even when tackling off-road sections.
The PAS (Perineal Area System) central channel prevents pressure spikes and numbness by increasing blood circulation. The ergonomic design and variable density foams eliminate pressure points in the perineal area.
Bases and Rails
The rail can be made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber), a blend of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments—ideal for cyclists seeking maximum rigidity and lightness—or Tirox (a light alloy steel) for excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long-fiber carbon for Nack rails, or injected carbon for Tirox rails. These materials offer an excellent balance between rigidity and comfort.
