We've taken all our decades of experience building road and mountain tires and applied it to create the ultimate gravel tire, the Touareg. It's based on the 127 TPI tubeless-ready casing of our Fusion road tire, and added our bead-to-bead Hardskin puncture protection layer to create a durable, cut-resistant tire that's responsive even at low air pressure.

The Touareg is a tire with a 127 tpi casing, an excellent option if you're looking for high performance. Flexible and lightweight, it ensures high rolling resistance.
Hutchinson's new gravel tire is also reinforced with a bead-to-bead Hardskin grid fabric. In addition to the thickness of the tire, Hutchinson's Hardskin reinforcement provides additional protection from sharp rocks, stones, and other hostile materials found on rough dirt trails. This mountain bike reinforcement has been meticulously tested in XC Marathon competitions.

IN PRACTICE

For challenging terrain, the Touareg improves on the popular Overide gravel tire. The Touareg's tread blocks are more pronounced, larger in volume, and larger in size. This ensures protection and grip even on the roughest terrain.
The Touareg was designed to let you enjoy every single second of your off-road adventure, while maintaining high performance on asphalt for a smooth and comfortable ride.
The Touareg's overall versatility is partly due to the ongoing development of its tread block architecture. Smaller, more compact blocks contribute to comfort and performance, both on rough terrain and on smooth asphalt.
